Longer timer on UPI AutoPay subscription
Hello team, congratulations on launching UPI AutoPay on Dodo Payments!
I would recommend a 5 minute timer for UPI AutoPay subscriptions, currently it shows 2 minutes:
Usually the SMS and app notifications can get delayed and we need to account for the time it takes for the user to read terms and understand what amount they are subscribing to:

Here, my subscription is ₹199 per month and ₹1499 yearly.
For both the amount shows ₹15,000 which could be difficult for the user to comprehend and understand; ideally it would be great to show the monthly or yearly price if possible but the two minute timer could cause unnecessary drop-offs.
Thanks for AutoPay, I have been waiting for it for a long time and I am glad it is here!

Thanks so much for the kind words, and really glad AutoPay landed well for you!
On the two points you raised:
Timer: good news, the AutoPay approval timer is now 15 minutes, so there's plenty of room for delayed SMS/app notifications and for the customer to read the terms. That drop-off risk should be handled.
The ₹15,000 amount: totally understand why that looks confusing. That figure isn't what your customer will be charged, it's the standard UPI AutoPay mandate cap, meaning the maximum the mandate is allowed to debit per cycle. Your customer will still only be charged ₹199/month or ₹1499/year. ₹15,000 is the NPCI standard ceiling that lets recurring debits run automatically without asking for the UPI PIN every time (above that limit, they'd have to re-authenticate each cycle). It also shows on the approval screen as "up to ₹15,000" because that screen is rendered by the customer's own UPI/bank app, not by us, so we can't change its wording or layout. This is default UPI behavior and the same across every merchant using AutoPay, not something specific to your setup.
Hope that clears it up. Happy to walk through it further if useful!
