Archive/delete a brand

If the new product I have created haven't been bought we should let the end user delete it.Just similar to what Stripe does. It's actually very convienient when developing and creating products. As in hard delete, only if they're bought once we can go with the archive flow. Please consider.

Thanks for raising this, Vansh! Quick status: deleting/archiving a brand isn't available today.

On delete specifically: a brand is the seller entity that appears on checkout, invoices, receipts, and the payment descriptor, so every payment, refund, invoice, and payout references it. As Merchant of Record, we have to retain those financial and tax records, so brands can't be hard-deleted, same reason products and customers can't. For now the guidance is to just leave an unused brand as-is; it won't affect your account or operations.

The realistic version of this is archiving a brand (hide it from the active list while keeping the underlying records for compliance), which is exactly what we already do for products. That's the direction I'd log this as, keeping it open as an enhancement.
