Hi Cebe,

Great news — this is already possible today, no new feature needed!

You can add a one-time setup fee to a subscription using Mixed Checkout — you combine a one-time product (the setup fee) with your recurring plan in the same checkout. The customer pays the setup fee and the first subscription charge together on the first payment, then only the recurring amount each cycle.

For your exact example ($100 first month, then $19/mo):

  1. Create a subscription product — "Pro Plan" at $19/month.
  2. Create a one-time product — "Setup Fee" at $81.
  3. Add both to a single checkout — the customer pays $100 upfront (setup + first month), and renewals are just $19/mo.

We've tested this end-to-end and it works exactly as expected. Happy to walk you through the setup if that helps.

Best regards,
Venkatesh
